UPDATE: Wanted Farmerville man arrested

FARMERVILLE, La. - UPDATE (10/8/17): A Farmerville man wanted for domestic abuse battery by strangulation has been arrested.

Joseph Griffin was arrested at a residence on Cedar Street by the Union Parish Sheriff's Office (UPSO) and Farmerville Police Department on Tuesday, November 7, 2017. 

Griffin was taken into custody without incident and booked into the Union Parish Detention Center.

His charges include Domestic abuse battery by strangulation, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and two counts of resisting an officer by flight.

Griffin also has numerous failure to appear warrants through UPSO, along with nonsupport warrants.

Griffin is also a fugitive through Ouachita Parish for failure to appear on narcotics and theft warrants.

The Farmerville Police Department needs your help locating a wanted man.

Joseph Griffin, 37 of Farmerville is wanted on charges of domestic abuse battery by strangulation and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

Griffin also has numerous failure to appear warrants through UPSO, along with nonsupport warrants, Griffin is also a fugitive through Ouachita Parish for failure to appear on narcotics and theft warrants.

Griffin is considered armed due to making death threats to victims and witnesses of using his firearms.

He frequents the Cedar Street area in Farmerville and was last seen driving a white Cadillac and silver SUV with aftermarket rims.
