Bienville Parish Family Dollar involved in armed robbery, suspect on loose

BIENVILLE Parish - On March 29, 2017 at approximately 8:52 PM Bienville Parish Sheriff's Office received a 911 call regarding a reported armed robbery of the Family Dollar store in Arcadia.

APD and BPSO responded and were notified by store employees that a black male in his mid twenties entered through the front door brandishing a handgun.

He ordered the two employees to go behind the counter and instructed them to remove all the cash from the register as well as the drop box.

After obtaining the cash he exited the store via the front door and ran south.

The suspect, described as being approximately 6 feet tall, mid twenties, and weighing approximately  170 pounds, was wearing a dark colored hoodie and dark colored pants, black shoes with white trim and yellow shorts underneath his pants.
