Deputies investigating grocery store burglary

BERNICE, La. - The Union Parish Sheriff’s Office is investigating a burglary at a local grocery store.

The incident happened Monday, June 12, 2017 at 2:00 a.m. at the Bernice Fresh Market in Bernice, La on Plum Street.

Deputies arrived to find the front glass window to be shattered.

The suspect was wearing a dark-colored beanie hat, a dark colored long sleeve shirt, dark pants and a white bandana over his face and gloves.

Clothing and perfume/cologne items were taken before the suspect left on foot.
