SWARTZ, La. - A 13-year-old faces a judge after being accused of shooting and killing a 17-year-old Sterlington High School student.
Alyssa Neitz was shot and killed back on February 23, 2018 in Swartz.
A hearing was held today for the juvenile charged with shooting and killing her.
The teen was arraigned and has entered a not guilty plea.
The accused shooter, whose name hasn't been released due to his age, faces a negligent homicide charge.
His case goes to trial on may 24th.
