Third suspect arrested in Richwood shooting

RICHWOOD, La.- - UPDATE (11:30 a.m. 11/27/2017): The Ouachita Parish Sheriff's Office has arrested the third suspect wanted in a shooting that injured two people over the weekend.

Leonard Baker, 24, was arrested Monday, November 27, 2017 in connection to a shooting that occurred Friday, November 24. 

Baker has been booked into the Ouachita Correctional Center on 4 counts of attempted second degree murder.

His bond has not yet been set.


(11/27/2017) The Ouachita Parish Sheriff's Office wants your help to find another suspect in a shooting that left two people hurt.

The shooting happened Friday night at 8:10pm in the 3400 block of Reddix Lane near the Monroe city line. Investigators say three people were arguing when all three pulled out firearms and began shooting. 

One of the suspects was hurt, as well as another person. Deputies did not say which suspect was injured or if that injury was a gunshot wound or another type of injury. Investigators did say all the injuries were not life threatening.

OPSO arrested 22-year-old Shonterrious Jaquez Robinson of Monroe. He has been arrested on a warrant charging him with two counts of Attempted Second Degree Murder. Robinson has been booked in the Ouachita Correctional Center.


The other suspect arrested was17-year-old Makel Rodgers of Monroe. He is facing four counts of Attempted Second Degree Murder, and he was also booked into OCC.

Deputies are also looking for a third suspect, 24-year-old Leonard Baker. He is facing four counts of Attempted Second Degree Murder. If you know where Baker is, deputies ask that you contact them.
