1 wanted for murder, 6 arrested in shooting

CROSSETT, Ark. - On April 29, 2018 at approximately 9:15 pm, the Crossett Police Department responded to a “shots fired” call near the intersection of Mississippi Street and 12th Avenue.

Upon arrival officers discovered an unresponsive victim with what appeared to be gunshot wounds.

Crossett Fire Department ambulance arrived and transported the victim to the Ashley County Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead. The victim was identified as Damien Lee Doyle, 39 from Lima, OH.

Investigators from the Crossett Police Department and Ashley County Sheriff’s Department immediately began investigating the incident.

The investigation resulted in the following arrests:

Gregory L. Smith, age 41, of Crossett, AR, charged with 1st Degree Murder, Felon in Possession of Firearm, and Absconding Parole arrested on May 2, 2018, bond set at $500,000, still in jail.

Robert Jerome Williams Jr., age 25, of Crossett, AR, charged with 1st Degree Murder and Felon in Possession of Firearm, arrested on May 1, 2018, bond set at $500,000, still in jail

Ramanda L. Williams-Duke, age 41, of Crossett, AR, charged with Tampering with Evidence and Hindering Apprehension, arrested on May 1, 2018, bond set at $15,000, bonded out.

Radrequiez Quinton Robinson, age 24, of Crossett, AR, arrested for Absconding Parole on April 30, 2018.

Kimberly D. Smith, age 38, of Crossett, arrested for Hindering Apprehension and Tampering with Evidence, arrested on May 3, 2018, bond set at $7,500.

Lazerrick Black, age 21, of Crossett, AR, arrested on May 2, 2018 for Absconding Parole and warrants not related to this incident.

Dominick Smith, age 20, arrest warrant for 1st Degree Murder.
