$1,000,000 bond for Magnolia murder suspect

MAGNOLIA, Ark. - (5/14/2018) One woman is dead and a man is in custody for a murder in Magnolia, Arkansas. According to the Columbia County Sheriff's Office, on May 11, 2018, they got a 911 call to the 2500 block of Columbia Road in Magnolia. The caller said a woman had been shot. 

When police arrived, they found, 28-year-old Jenkia Rankin. She was pronounced dead at the Magnolia Regional Medical Center Emergency Room.

During their investigation, deputies learned 38-year-old Keith McBride was their suspect. After a short chase that ended on South Jackson Street just before 2 p.m. McBride was placed under arrest.

Keith McBride is charged with First Degree Murder, Possession of a Firearm, and Felony Fleeing. His bond is set at $1,000,000. His case is being turned over to the Prosecutor's Office.
