EL DORADO -- El Dorado Chemical recently announced a 600-million dollar expansion project.

Officials say the first phase of the expansion is the construction of a new ammonia storage tank.

They call it a key part of their expansion project.

"That's one of the storage tanks that we will be building that will store the anhydrous ammonia after we produce it. It's a 19 million dollar tank that will take almost 2 years to build," says Withrow.

El Dorado Chemical says the expansion is expected to create 45 more job opportunities for the community.
