VIDEO: Monroe Police Still Looking for Suspect in Armed Robbery
MONROE (KTVE/KARD) -- Monroe Police Officers report they are still searching for a suspect in an armed robbery that occurred over the weekend.
Authorities said around 11 p.m. Sunday, two females were sitting in their vehicle parked at a convenience store in the 1100 block of South Second Street.
Police said a black male armed with a handgun approached the driver's side of the vehicle and demanded money.
When the suspect was unable to obtain any money, officers said he stole a cell phone and then fled the scene on foot headed in an easterly direction.
Authorities said the suspect is dressed in white clothing.
If anyone can identify this suspect, they're asked to call Monroe Police at 318-329-2600 or Crime Stoppers.
