Union Parish Teenager Arrested for Sexual Battery

FARMERVILLE -- Union Parish sheriff’s investigators have charged a Farmerville teenager with a sexual battery that occurred during the weekend.
Michael E. Tucker III, 17, was arrested in the early morning hours Sunday after a complaint was called in by the father of a 14-year-old girl.
The complaint was called in between 2 a.m.-3a.m. Sunday and the father held the suspect until deputies arrived, Sheriff Dusty Gates said.
The complainant told deputies that Tucker was a visitor in the residence when the incident occurred.
Tucker’s bond was set at $15,000. If he is convicted of sexual battery he can receive up to 10 years with or without hard labor and could be required to register as a sex offender.
