Police: Man Opens Fire On Jehovah's Witnesses

FAYETTEVILLE, AR -- An Arkansas man was arrested after police said he opened fire on a group of Jehovah's Witnesses as they left his home.

Everything was fine when the three men arrived at the Centerton home of John Baldwin on Saturday, Northwest Arkansas and sister TV station KNWA reported.

But when the 35-year-old Baldwin learned they were Jehovah's Witnesses, he told them to "get the (expletive) off my property" and told his wife to get him his gun, according to KFSM.

Police said he opened fire on the men as they drove away, firing an estimated 19 rounds.

Baldwin, who was arrested and released on $50,000 bail, now faces a charge of felony aggravated assault.
