Police Looking for Robber Who Held Up Johnny's Pizza

MONROE (KTVE/KARD) -- Monroe Police are on the lookout for an armed suspect who robbed a Johnny's Pizza restaurant in Monroe Sunday night.

According to police, at 10:30 p.m. the armed suspect entered the Johnny's on the 800 block of S. 2nd St. in Monroe.

Police said the robber was an unidentified black male. Their investigation revealed he was wearing a mask and armed with a handgun. Authorities said he demanded money from the employees inside the restaurant.

The suspect fled the scene on foot after taking an undetermined amount of money.

Police said no one was injured during the robbery and the investigation is ongoing.
