Ouachita Parish -- Two inmates at OCC have been re-booked on new charges after an attempted smuggling arrest last week.

Deputies say Kenneth Walker and Dameon Moran are charged with conspiracy to introduce contraband and conspiracy to distribute marijuana.

Last Thursday deputies arrested Jeremy Black and accused him of trying to get marijuana and electronic equipment into the jail.

Deputies say Black crashed his vehicle while trying to get away.

Deputies say Black had several packages that contained the drugs and the electronics.

Black is facing several charges, including attempted introduction of contraband to a penal facility.
