Man Tries Burning Car To Cover Up Traffic Homicide In Baton Rouge

BATON ROUGE (NBC33) -- Janneh L. Trench, 35, of Vacherie, LA, is wanted in connection with traffic death of Eric Fabre.

Trench was involved in a car crash that resulted in Fabre's death on June 20, in the 9700 block of Airline Highway, shortly before 1:00 a.m.

Baton Rouge Police Traffic Homicide investigators learned that Trench fled the scene after the crash and drove to an abandoned lot in the 2500 block of Erie Street.

There Trench tried to burn the 2007 Chrysler 300 in order to destroy evidence.

Trench is wanted for felony hit and run, reckless operation, obstruction of justice, and operating a vehicle while under suspension.
