West Monroe -- A Calhoun man is facing charges after an early morning high speed chase.

According to a West Monroe Police affidavit, an officer saw a GMC Sierra traveling north on Thomas Road with no headlights. The officer caught up with the vehicle, which was traveling at speeds in excess of 100 mph on westbound Interstate 20 between Thomas Road and Downing Pines Road.

The chase ended at a home on Claiborne Road in Calhoun, where officers say Jonathan Lee Dostie ran inside and barricaded himself in the house.

Officers eventually found him in a back bedroom.

Dostie was taken to the West Monroe Correctional Center and later moved to Ouachita Correctional Center.

He's facing several charges, including flight from an officer.
