TALLULAH -- The burned body of a man found in a Tallulah neighborhood last week has now been identified. Authorities also have a handful of suspects in the incident identified.
Trooper Albert Paxton with Louisiana State Police Troop F confirmed the body has been identified as 27-year-old Quincy Wafer of Kent, Washington.
Wafer's body was found burnt and charred on Monday, April 14th in a neighborhood a quarter of a mile away from the Days Inn in Tallulah. Louisiana State Police and the Madison Parish Sheriff's Office began their investigation into the perpetrators of the incident.
More than one week later, Paxton said five suspects have been connected to Wafer's death and four of them have been identified.
Second degree murder warrants have been issued for those four and Paxton said authorities are in the process of arresting them. According to Paxton, these suspects are not locals and are not even from Louisiana.
We will bring you more details once they are released to us.
