Arrest Warrants Issued for Monroe Robbery Suspects

On 7-17-14 the Monroe Police Department was contacted in reference to a 2nd Degree Robbery which occurred in the 2200 block of Desiard Street.

On 7-18-14, after surveillance video of the suspects was aired in local media outlets, Dominic D. Sanders and Cedric L. Sanders were identified as suspects in this case.

Monroe Police Detectives executed a search warrant at 108 South 23rd in reference to this case. Items and information were obtained at the residence that connected both D. Sanders and C. Sanders to the robbery.

Based on the results of this investigation, arrest warrants were obtained for D. Sanders and C. Sanders.

Bond for each suspect was set at $20,000. Both D. Sanders and C. Sanders are currently being held in jail in East Carroll Parish on an unrelated crime.

Both suspects listed below are from the Lake Providence area:

Dominic D. Sanders, DOB: 9-21-91 and Cedric L. Sanders, DOB: 8-26-93.

These warrants will be filed and a detainer placed with East Carroll Parish Detention Center.
