LITTLE ROCK, AR (KARK) - Arkansas' voter ID law has been ruled unconstitutional.

The decision came in late this afternoon from Pulaski County Circuit Court Judge Timothy Davis Fox in a lawsuit brought by the Pulaski County Election Commission against the Arkansas State Board of Election Commissioners and Doyle Webb with the Republican Party of Arkansas.

Judge Fox ruled that the state can't give extra time to count absentee ballots without a photo ID.

The Arkansas State Board of Election Commissioners had passed a rule saying it could.
