The Arkansas Today crew and host Mallory Brooks will visit five towns across Arkansas in five days as part of the Arkansas Today Summer Road Tour.
The show plans to broadcast from live El Dorado, Hot Springs, Texarkana, Fayetteville and Bentonville. This marks the first time the statewide broadcast has left its Little Rock studios to visit other parts of Arkansas.
"Our news crews cover and present stories from across the state each day," said host Mallory Brooks. "I'm excited about the opportunity to visit these great towns and the people who live there."
Arkansas Today launched April 2, 2012 on KTVE in El Dorado, KARK in Little Rock, KNWA in Fayetteville, and KTAL in Texarkana. The broadcast is available in more than 1.4 million households.
During the Arkansas Today Summer Road Tour, Brooks will broadcast the news and conduct interviews from a different spot in Arkansas each day. Viewers are invited to attend the live show, appear on television and win prizes. Attendees are encouraged to bring signs to show during the broadcast.
For those interesting in attending, the broadcast schedule is posted below.
